What should I expect at a Reiki Session? Wearing comfortable clothing, the client lies on a massage table while the practitioner positions her hands on or above different target areas of the body from head to toe. There are seven different energy centers, chakras on the human body. The energy flows wherever it is required and can be described as a warm tingling sensation. It is very relaxing. A session is meant to leave you comforted, refreshed, and balanced. A series of sessions can be scheduled depending on the client’s needs.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-roku, forest bathing is a meditative approach to making connections with nature while walking through the woods. Learn to immerse all of your senses on a guided walk and take in all the forest has to offer.

Hiking vs. Forest bathing…hiking is rooted in the physical exercise with a specific destination “there”. Forest bathing is a much slower pace with a focus on connection and a relationship to nature with a destination of “here”. It is a practice of the art of stillness and sensory noticing. Small group discussion and journaling may be included.
“When the forest is allowed its place within you, it supports your body’s natural capacity for wellness and healing.” M. Amos Clifford
